Study microorganism–host interactions, including the microbiome, immune response, and human and animal infections resulting from environmental contamination;
Explore clinical, molecular, and pharmacological determinants of therapeutic drug response;

Health Education and Promotion
Promote the development of research in health education and promotion among young people;
Identify and measure the outcomes of health promotion practices and contribute to evidence-based decision-making;
Promote learning strategies and integrate educational technologies into Higher Education programs aimed at healthcare professionals.
